|Paint Correction.
Paint correction, swirl and scratch removal, machine polishing, and “buffing”, all mean the same thing. It is the process of removing imperfections in the clear coat by polishing and leveling out the surface. Defects such as swirls induced by a car wash, sanding marks from the factory, haziness from oxidation, and scratches from every day use, can all be removed.

Which is best for me?
A ONE-STEP correction is perfect for a vehicle that has minor paint damage, such as lighter scratches, swirls, and marring. This process usually leads to upwards of 70-80% correction, and makes the average vehicle look brand new again.
A TWO-STEP correction is for owners that have very damaged paint, or simply want their car to look as close to perfect as possible With the two-step compounding and then polishing process, most scratches and marring are removed, with the exception of damage that has penetrated through the clear coat (scratches or rock chips that look white, or are deep enough that your finger nail catches on them). Typically looking at around 80-90% correction.
